Son of Eli and Mary Jane Farley. Eli Farley lived south of Akron.

Elmer Clifton Farley, son of Eli and Mary Jane Farley, was born in Phillips County, Kansas September 28th, 1889, and died at the Naval Hospital, Brooklyn, New York, October 12th, 1918, being at the time of his death 29 years and 14 days old. His mother, two sisters and one brother preceded him in death years ago to the better land. He leaves to mourn his death, an aged father, two sisters and one brother, besides numerous other relatives and friends.
He resided with his father and brother near Kensington, until May 19 when he enlisted in the Navy to serve his country. The body was sent to Akron, Colorado, where the father now resides, from Brooklyn, New York, on October 18th., and was then removed to the home of the father south of that place, where short funeral services were conducted by Rev. Springston of Akron. The body was laid to rest in the Elba Cemetery.
The sympathy of the many friends at this place is extended to the bereaved ones in their great sorrow.
